I always have bugs.
Another update. I’m putting NPCs in. Got all the dialogues and responses pretty much done, but I need to place the ponies that I’ve chosen into the game so they can be interacted with before the dialogues can work.
As you can see, it’s not really that easy. At least for DatsNoMoon here… who will be a freeroaming one. I’m hoping to make one other NPC freeroaming as well, while everyone else will be at a cubicle.
Other than this bull, Everything’s getting figured out. Sorry for the lack of inactivity, I’ve had to take a break from the work for a bit.
Also, I’m planning on adding a secret into the game. Only a few of my friends who are followers will know about it, so if they reblog and you follow them, you’ll be able to know what the secret is. Otherwise, it’ll be lost in the tumblrverse. (TL;DR reblog my game to get a rad awesome secret, and follow those who have the code)
FANART FRIDAY!!!! PART 3!!!!
TR-TR-TRIPLE FANART COMBO!!!
We have a chubbie askshramper playing some video games and being adorable!!
Looks like my dialogue system works, more or less. A small bug requiring you to press Space twice for some reason to work, but otherwise, here’s proof I can put you guys into my game!
The text is pretty small, but it is readable. I can try to make it bigger, but then I’d be cutting off the character’s name. I’ll see what I can do…
Here’s another update guys.
I can’t do much else with programming except for adding dialogues and putting more purpose into the game. So I got some plans that I’ll be needing your help with!
I’m incorporating asks that I’ve received into the game as dialogue, as a way to progress further. But I’ll be making the dialogues through NPCs akin to whoever asks. This means I need some questions, and if I like them I will put your OC into my game as an NPC.
Ask away folks! And Stay tuned!
Happy (Belated) Birthday!
Dave: Thank you so much Shramper! It looks so awesome!
Was fun! Hope your birthday was a good one!
I made this in about 30 minutes for a local bar meet.
Lampshade Joke explained here.
Essentially, I was dared to walk around in public with a lampshade on my head. I had to buy 3 items under 20 bucks. The reward was a few pints and the 20 dollars back.
Just thought I’d post it here, seeing as it’s the only fun antics that’s happened in my local Brony group.
*Sorry for Potato quality gif*
Here’s another update!
I got the next area finished in my plot comic, the studio floor itself! I made sure it was very akin to the studio floor I used in my follower pic, as well as it matching the studio building itself (more or less).
I plan to add 2 more rooms possibly, and some interaction with NPCs for kicks aside from the plot. So now it only boils down to who’s going to be NPCs? I’ve figured the NPCs can be the OCs of people who’ve asked me questions that I feel would fit. I would prefer to draw out my character’s emotions and reactions to everyone’s question, rather than just answer with some text, but I may just take screen shots to showcase the questions in that case.
I’ve also added a little bit of a dialogue system for the first room, which I intend to implement into the rest of the game. But so far, this is a blast to work with, and I’m dedicated to it 100%!!!
Stay Tuned folks!
Looks like we got two entries tonight! Make sure to reblog and tag these guys! Let them know how much you appreciate them.
askshramper thank you for being my top follower! :D
Wow! Thank you very much AskLovelyLaughter!
No Point and Click. You’ll be moving Shramper around with the arrow keys, and interacting with objects using Space.
